Meet the photographer

Hi, I’m Adrianne, the heart and lens behind Hazel + Root Photography.

First things first: my family is my world. I’m a mama to three beautiful, wild, and wonderful kids who constantly remind me how fast life moves (and how important it is to freeze time when we can). When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me curled up with a good book, chasing the perfect gummy-popcorn combo, or savoring a crispy pickle. Oh, and tacos are my love language..

I was born in Colorado but planted roots here in North Texas. And speaking of roots... that’s exactly where Hazel + Root comes from. My mom, who passed in 2015 from liver disease, had the most beautiful hazel eyes. She was, and will always be, the root of who I am. This business is a tribute to her—to the love she gave me and the love I now get to capture for others.
